Edwarda (Majka) Juszkiewicz

Edwarda Juszkiewicz, 86, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024. Edwarda was born in Stary Sącz, Poland on August 17, 1937, to the late Roman and Zofia (Cięciel) Majka. On July 17, 1955, Edwarda married Jozef Juszkiewicz who preceded her in death on March 3, 2004. Edwarda was a homemaker.

Edwarda is survived by her daughter Maria (Tom) Otolski of La Porte, Indiana; three sons, Mitch (Linda) Juszkiewicz of La Porte, Indiana, Ted (Kay) Juszkiewicz of Mill Creek, Indiana, and Wes (Monica) Juszkiewicz of La Porte, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Noah, Zofia, Anna, Ryan (Jennifer), Michelle (Christopher), Tony, Josh, Nicholas (Sierra), and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Gideon, Jozef, Mitch, Amelia, Zella, K’senia, and Wiesiu; a sister, Michelle (Zenon) Resiak; and a brother, Kazimierz Majka. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jozef; a sister, Krystyna Paterka; and two brothers, Tadeusz Majka and Lesław Majka.

Visitation will be from 4-7p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. A Parish Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Family and friends may gather from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 201 Bach Street, La Porte, Indiana. Reverend Ian Williams and Reverend Jozef Musiol will concelebrate. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
